CRCAT stands for the Copyright Royalties Collective for AI Training, a new framework proposed by the Government of India to regulate how AI companies pay for using copyrighted works in training their models.
CRCAT is a proposed central organisation under India’s Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), It would act as the gatekeeper for licensing and royalty payments when AI developers use copyrighted content for training. Developers would gain automatic rights to train on any lawfully accessed copyrighted works, but they must pay royalties through indias official CRCAT organisation. Rights holders cannot refuse participation all copyrighted works are included in the system

From my understanding, the furry community does not wish for its art, music, fursonas, or copyrighted works to be used in the training of AI systems. Accordingly, this website operates solely in the interests of Velivian Fesothe, who is open to licensing his works for AI training under attribution and royalty agreements, unless otherwise released under an open license.
Should this acronym become the global standard for copyright training and the collection of royalties, and should it become evident that the rights of the furry fandom or even UK citizens require formal representation where the United Kingdom government has not been able to provide it, I reserve the right to develop this website into a copyright registry. Such a registry would operate as a non‑profit organization, in partnership with authorized bodies, to safeguard the interests of the furry community and the general public.
